Jakes Bejoy is excited to join Mammootty’s next

As already reported by us, Mammootty has signed a film with debutante director Ratheena Sharshad. The trio of Harshad, Suhas and Sharfu are scripting the film. Harshad had previously scripted ‘Unda’, also starring Mammootty. The two other scenarists, Suhas and Sharfu, made their debut with ‘Varathan’ and later co-wrote the multi-starrer ‘Virus’ with Muhsin Parari.

Ratheena Sharshad’s directorial debut already has a strong technical crew comprising of cinematographer Girish Gangadharan, editor Deepu Joseph, art director Manu Jagath and costume designer Sameera Saneesh. The team recently got one more addition in the form of music director Jakes Bejoy. Interestingly, this is Jakes’ first opportunity to score for a Mammootty starrer and he seems really excited about it.

Last day, the composer shared a photo with Ratheena and team in his social media handle. He also wrote,

Jakes Bejoy is noted for his work in films like ‘Queen’, ‘Ranam’, ‘Ishq’ and ‘Ayyappanum Koshiyum’. He has also done other language films like ‘Dhuruvangal Pathinaaru’ and the Vijay Deverakonda-starrer ‘Taxiwala’.
