Jayaram and Kalidas meet MK Stalin; Congratulate him on DMK’s victory in Tamil Nadu polls

DMK president MK Stalin is set to be sworn in as the Chief Minister of Tamil Nadu, along with his Council of Ministers on Friday. Meanwhile, people from all walks of the society are congratulating the party and Stalin for their glorious victory. Recently, Malayalam actor Jayaram and his son Kalidas visited Stalin to congratulate him on the party’s success. Photos from their meet have also been shared in social medias.

Though Jayaram hails from the Malayalam industry, he is quite popular among the Tamil masses as well. It is worth a mention that, his son Kalidas Jayaram’s debut outing as a lead actor was also in Tamil with ‘Meen Kuzhambum Mann Paanaiyum’. Last year, the youngster had three releases in Tamil. He was part of the OTT films ‘Putham Pudhu Kaalai’, ‘Paava Kadhaigal’ and ‘Oru Pakka Kathai’. Currently, he is working on a Tamil-Malayalam bilingual directed by debutant Vinil Varghese.

Jayaram, meanwhile, was last seen in Tamil in ‘Putham Pudhu Kaalai’. He is also playing a major role in Mani Ratnam’s upcoming biggie ‘Ponniyin Selvan’, that has top actors from various languages.
