Jayaram to play Udhayanidhi Stalin’s father!

Jayaram is currently basking in the success of his last release, Panchavarnathatha. The Ramesh Pisharody directorial was a much needed hit for Jayaram who was on a lean patch for sometime. If latest reports are to be believed, the actor is all set to make his return to Tamil industry after a brief gap. Reportedly, the veteran actor has been signed to play a crucial role in Udhayanidhi Stalin’s upcoming movie.

Enoc Able, a former associate of director Atlee, is making his directorial debut with this movie. Jayaram will be playing the role of Udhayainidhi Stalin’s father in the movie which is touted to be a rom-com entertainer. Priya Bhavani Shankar and Induja of ‘Meyaadha Maan’ fame have been roped in as the female leads. More details regarding the title and when shoot kick-starts will be announced in the coming days.

Jayaram was last seen in Tamil in a cameo role in Kamal Haasan’s Uttama Villain. He also has Venkat Prabhu’s Party coming up for release this year. He is playing one of the lead roles in the movie co-starring Shaam, Jai, Shiva, Sathyaraj, Nasser, Ramya Krishnan, Regina Cassandra, Nivetha Pethuraj and Sanchita Shetty.
