Jayaram aadupuliyattam hit or flop
At last it seems that popular actor Jayaram will get a box office success after some years. His latest release Aadupuliyattam had got decent reviews from the audience and now getting a steady collection from screens here in Kerala. This horror-comedy thriller is attracting the children and family audience and that is helping this movie to move smoothly towards a box office success.
The flick was directed by Kannan Thamarakkulam and scripted by Dinesh Pallathu. Ratheesh Vega’s music and DOP by Jithu Damodar was really made the film technically perfect as well. Performances from Baby Akshara Kishore, Sheelu Abraham, Ramya Krishnan, Saju Navodaya, Ramesh Pisharody, Sreekumar, Om Puri, Sambath etc also made the film a good one. The team is planning the release of its Tamil and Telugu version as well.
Jayaram is looking for a box office success for some years. He is one of the most loved actors in Kerala and has the power to attract family audience to the theaters. But for last few years he is really struggling with his box office power. Selection of mediocre screenplays had let down this actor. But now it seems Jayaram had got the right track.
His last success was Swapna Sanchari directed by Kamal in 2011. Later a film named Lucky Star directed by Deepu Anthikkad had got decent reviews but failed to create any impact at box office. Anyway the good going of Aadu Puliyattam is really a sigh of relief for Jayaram and it once again proves that if he get a decent screenplay, he is still a decent crowd puller here in Mollywood.
