Jayasurya and Ranjith Sankar announce Punyalan Agarbathis 2

Director Ranjith Sankar whose latest release Ramante Edanthottam is doing average business in the box office, has just announced his next. He will be teaming up with Jayasurya once again for a sequel to their 2013 superhit movie Punyalan Agarbathis.

This will be the fourth time that the director will be collaborating with Jayasurya after Punyalan Agarbathis, Su Su Sudhi Vathmeekam and Pretham. Punyalan Agarbathis, released in 2013 was a socio-political satire. The movie is about an young entrepreneur Joy Thakkolkaran and his attempts to succeed in an ambitious business of incense sticks.

Jayasurya and Nyla Usha played the lead roles while Aju Varghese, Rachana Narayanankutty, TG Ravi, Innocent, Sreejith Ravi and many others played supporting characters. The movie was produced by Jayasurya and Ranjith Sankar under the banner of Dreams N Beyond.
