Jibu Jacob to team up with Suresh Gopi next

Director Jibu Jacob, known for hits like ‘Vellimoonga’ and ‘Munthirivallikal Thalirkkumbol’, is set to team up with Suresh Gopi next. A newcomer is scripting the film and Suresh Gopi has already given his nod. An official announcement is expected to be out soon.

Jibu Jacob’s last two films ‘Adhyarathri’ and ‘Ellam Sheriyakum’ failed to impress the majority. The director will be hoping to make a strong comeback with the Suresh Gopi-starrer. It will be interesting to see what genre he attempts with the veteran star.

Jibu Jacob, who was a cinematographer before turning a director, has cranked the camera for Suresh Gopi’s films like ‘Raama Raavanan’ and ‘Rashtram’.

Suresh Gopi is currently in isolation after testing positive for Covid-19. Before getting infected, he had completed the shoot of the Joshiy-directorial ‘Paappan’. The actor, who was last seen in ‘Kaaval’ also has ‘Ottakomban’ and an untitled film with director Rahul Ramachandran in the pipeline.
