Joju George-Nimisha Sajayan starrer Chola release date announced

Director Sanal Kumar Sasidharan’s ‘Chola’ starring Joju George and Nimisha Sajayan has been eagerly awaited by many. The first first grabbed when the Kerala State awards were announced. Both the lead actors won awards for their performance in the movie. Sanal Kumar Sasidharan also got a special jury mention for direction as well as sound design.

‘Chola’ was later selected for screening at the Venice International Film Festival, becoming is only the third Malayalam film to be screened there. Finally after all the waiting, the film is set for its theatrical release on December 6. Director Sanal has confirmed that the film will have a wide release in a good number of theatres.

‘Chola’ revolves around a school going girl’s journey with a midde-aged man. Director Sanal has scripted the film jointly with KV Manikandan. Ajith Aacharya is the cinematographer and music is by Basil CJ and Sergey Cheremisnov. It is produced by actor Joju’s own banner Appu Pathu Pappu Productions
