Joju George pins high hopes on Valiya Perunnal

Post ‘Joseph’, Joju George has been on a different league with several promising projects lined up for him. His recent release ‘Porinju Mariam Jose’ is getting excellent response at the box office. Meanwhile, during its promotions, Joju revealed that he has high hopes on his upcoming movie, ‘Valiya Perunnal’, also starring Shane Nigam and Soubin Shahir.

When asked about his most favorite Malayalam film this year, Joju said it was ‘Kumbalangi Nights’ but immediately added that ‘Valiya Perunnal’ has all the potential to be an even better one. It is being directed by debutant Dimal Dennis. The movie has been in the making for a long time now and was supposed to release much earlier.

Scripted by Dimal and Thasreeq Abdul Salam, it is said to be a Fort Kochi based story in which Shane Nigam plays the lead role of a dancer. Its core technical crew includes ‘Thottappan’ cinematographer Suresh Rajan, music director Rex Vijayan and editor Vivek Harshan. Monisha Rajeev is producing the film under the banner of Magic Mountain Cinemas and hit maker Anwar Rasheed will be presenting it.

The makers have announced that it will be releasing in October however the exact date has not yet been given.
