Jomon T John turns producer; To fund Nivin Pauly-Major Ravi team’s romantic entertainer

We had recently told you that Major Ravi is teaming up with young star Nivin Pauly next for a romantic entertainer. The news came in as a big surprise for everyone, as Major Ravi is mostly associated with army based movies and action entertainers.

Latest development in the camp is that popular cinematographer Jomon T John will produce this movie. This romantic entertainer will be his debut production venture. He is also cranking the camera for this movie. Gopi Sunder will handle the music department for this movie.

Jomon recently opted out of Gautham Menon- Vikram team’s much talked about spy thriller Dhurva Natchathiram, owing to date issues. He had started working for the first schedule before shoot got pushed. He had to leave the project as he could not accommodate the dates. He is also stepping into Bollywood this year with Rohit Shetty’s Golmaal Again, the latest installment in the popular Golmaal franchise.

Jomon had earlier worked with Major Ravi in Prithviraj’s Picket 43. He also shares a good camaraderie with Nivin Pauly as they have worked together in Thattathin Marayathu, Oru Vadakkan Selfie and more recently Jacobinte Swargarajyam.

Major Ravi- Nivin Pauly movie will be a love story based on true incidents. The director had recently revealed that the basic theme of the movie is that love always wins because you are ready to do anything for it. The movie will have a huge star cast and will be made on a big budget. A new face will play the female lead and the team is currently on the lookout for a suitable girl. They are planning to start the movie by the end of the year.
