Jude Anthany Joseph and Aju Varghese to play leads in a movie

Aju Varghese and director Jude Anthany Joseph are teaming up for a new movie. But this it is not Jude directing Aju Varghese, instead both of them will play lead roles in an upcoming movie directed by a newcomer.

Aju Varghese is often called as the lucky charm of Malayalam film industry. In the past few years he has become one of the most inevitable actors in the industry.

He has shared screen space with almost all the lead actors ranging from Mohanlal, Mammootty to Jayasurya, Kunchacko Boban to Sunny Wayne and Unni Mukundan.

Though he is mostly limited to the hero’s sidekicks and humour roles, he has also played character roles in movies like Zachariayude Garbhinikal, Paisaa Paisaa, Mariyam Mukku and Su Su Sudhi Vathmeekam. In the recent blockbuster movie Oppam, he played a role with grey shades.

Jude Anthany Joseph debuted as a director through the superhit movie Om Shanti Oshana. His recent directorial Oru Muthassi Gadha was also an average grosser in the box office.

He has acted in cameo appearances in movies like Premam, Action Hero Biju, Thoppil Joppan and his own Oru Muthassi Gadha. He is now taking a break from filmmaking and will be concentrating more on his acting.

The new movie starring Aju Varghese and Jude Anthany Joseph will be a through comedy entertainer with equal scopes of performance for both the actors.
