Jyothika to play Prabhas’ sister in Salaar

There is a buzz going around that Jyothika is a part of Prabhas’ upcoming film ‘Salaar’. Directed by KGF fame Prashanth Neel, it is an action entertainer made on a huge scale. As per reports, Jyothika will be seen as Prabhas’ sister in the film. The makers are yet to confirm this officially. ‘Salaar’ already has Kannada actor Madhu Guruswamy as the antagonist and Shruthi Haasan as the female lead. She is said to be playing the role of a journalist in it.

‘Salaar’ is a pan-Indian film that is being made on a huge canvas. As the film comes with the tagline, ‘The most violent men.. called one man.. the most violent’, it is quite evident that ‘Salaar’ will be a full-on action packed entertainer.

On the technical front, director Prashanth Neel has retained almost the same core team from ‘KGF’. Ravi Basrur is composing the music while Bhuvan Gowda is the cinematographer. Hombale Films is producing the film, which is scheduled to hit screens worldwide on April 14, 2022.
