Kaala actress Sakshi Agarwal in Biju Menon’s Orayiram Kinakkalal

Biju Menon is currently shooting for his upcoming movie Orayiram Kinakkalal, directed by Pramod Mohan. It is a fun filled family entertainer in which Biju Menon plays the role of a UK returnee. The movie has got an interesting connection to superstar Rajinikanth’s Kaala.

Sakshi Agarwal, who has played a prominent role in Kaala, has been roped in to star opposite Biju Menon in Orayiram Kinakkalal. She will be seen as Biju Menon’s caring and affectionate wife in this upcoming movie. Director Pramod Mohan, who has previously helmed the popular sitcom Chumma- Just Fun, is making his directorial debut with Orayiram Kinakkalal.

Scripted by the director himself, Orayiram Kinakkalal, as the title suggests, is a story of a thousand dreams. The story is based on the dreams of a set of people and the shortcuts they take to fulfill it. As per the director, it is a comedy thriller with a lot of situational humour.

Renji Panicker, Kalabhavan Shajon, Hareesh Kanaran, Nirmal Palazhi, Thesni Khan and many others are part of the supporting cast. Shoot for the movie is progressing at a brisk pace in Kochi.

2017 has been a good year for Biju Menon with four releases till now – Rakshadhikari Baiju, Lakshyam, Sherlock Toms and Lavakusha. Rakshadhikari Baiju was a super hit success while Lakshyam was an average grosser. He will be hoping to continue the successful run next year as well. His next release is Rosapoo, directed by Vinu Joseph, a former associate of Rajeev Ravi.
