Kaappaan team release a special poster on Mohanlal’s birthday

KV Anand’s upcoming movie ‘Kaappaan’ is among the most awaited Tamil films of the year. The movie has a stellar star cast lead by two of South cinema’s biggest stars – Mohanlal and Suriya. The former is celebrating his birthday today. While wishes are pouring in for the star from all corners, ‘Kaappaan’ team have released a birthday special poster.

The movie has Mohanlal playing the Indian Prime Minister’s role while Suriya will be seen as a high-rank National Security Guard (NSG) officer, who is in charge of the PM’s security. The two stars have a lot of combination scenes in the film and it promises to be a treat for the fans.

‘Kaappaan’ is touted to be an action packed thriller. It also has Arya, Sayyeshaa, Boman Irani, Shamna Kasim and Samuthirakani in major roles. The movie was shot in several countries across the world. MS Prabhu has cranked the camera and music department is handled by Harris Jayaraj. Lyca Productions is backing this big budget flick, which is scheduled for release in August.
