Kaathal: Mammootty’s Upcoming Venture Directed by Jeo Baby Set for Worldwide Release on November 23
After the triumph of his recent hit, ‘Kannur Squad,’ Megastar Mammootty is gearing up to captivate audiences with his next film. His much-anticipated upcoming release, ‘Kaathal,’ directed by acclaimed filmmaker Jeo Baby, has officially announced its release date.
‘Kaathal’ is scheduled to hit screens globally on November 23, 2023. Notably, the film will debut at the International Film Festival of India in Goa and will also be showcased at the International Film Festival of Kerala in Trivandrum.
Jeo Baby, known for his celebrated works such as ‘The Great Indian Kitchen,’ ‘Freedom Fight,’ ‘Kunju Daivam,’ ‘Randu Penkuttikal,’ and ‘Kilometers and Kilometers,’ has garnered substantial anticipation for his collaboration with Mammootty on ‘Kaathal.’
Talented Tamil actress Jyothika takes on the female lead in this movie, which Mammootty himself produced under the banner of Mammootty Kampany. The script is credited to Adarsh Sukumaran in collaboration with Paul Scaria.
It features prominent characters played by Lalu Alex, Muthumani, Chinnu Chandni, Sudhi Kozhikkod, Anagha Akku, Josi Sijo, Adarsh Sukumaran, and others alongside the lead pair. Saloo K George served as the cinematographer, with music composed by Mathews Pulickan. Francis Louise is responsible for the film’s editing.
