Kaaval teaser to be released on Suresh Gopi’s birthday

The teaser of Suresh Gopi’s upcoming film ‘Kaaval’ will be released online on June 26, which happens to be the star’s birthday. The Nithin Renji Panciker directorial is a highly anticipated film as Suresh Gopi is making his comeback to genre after a long gap. Touted to be an action-packed family drama, the story set in the high ranges of Idukki and spans across different timelines.

‘Kaaval’ was on the verge of competition when lockdown was announced. The team has still got 10 more days of shoot left and it’s expected to be resumed once lockdown restrictions are over. Meanwhile, they have started the post-production activities. Dubbing works are already underway.

The film has Renji Panicker playing a crucial role along with Suresh Gopi. Both the actors will be appearing in two getups in the film – an older and younger look. Zaya David, Alencier Ley Lopez, IM Vijayan, Sujith Shankar, Kichu Tellus, Binu Pappu, Santhosh Keezhattoor, Muthumani and Pathamaraj Ratheesh are also part of the cast.

National award winner Nikhil S Praveen is the DOP and Ranjin Raj of ‘Joseph’ fame handles the music department. Joby George of Goodwill Entertainments is producing the film.
