Kabali surpassed Baahubali and Sultan record

Super Star Rajinikanth starrer movie named Kabali had hit the screens all over the globe today. This Pa Ranjith scripted and directorial film is the biggest release in Tamil film history till now which got more than 5000 screen all over the world. The film expected to break many existing Box office records in Indian cinema as it created great hype and anticipation level before the release. The presence of Rajinikanth is the biggest plus it has as he have stunning fan base all over the world.

As expected, the flick started off by creating new records in Indian Cinema. The film had made a new box office record in US, by surpassing the collection records set by SS Rajamouli’s Baahubali and Salman Khan starrer Sultan through the premiere shows there.

Kabali had got thunderous opening at US through its premiere shows and got great viewership rate there right from the word go. Kabali had got more than 1.45 Million Dollars through its premiere shows alone from there and officially become the all time best premiere grosser at US, from Indian Cinema. Baahubali had got 1.38 Million Dollars from premiers there and Sultan had got 786194 Dollars through its premier shows there.

The Tamil and Telugu version of the movie had released there in 450 screens and Cine Galaxy had distributed the flick there. They bought the rights to distribute Kabali there for 8.5 crore rupees. The film is getting below average to average reviews from all over and we will have to wait and see how many days it holds in screens all over the world.
