Kabali will surpass Baahubali records, says producer

Kabali, the much awaited Kollywood movie starred by none other than Super Star Rajinikanth is all set to hit the screens from this coming Friday. This Pa Ranjith scripted and directed movie is a much anticipated one in Indian Cinema now and everything related to this movie is becoming a news. The flick had already minted rupees 223 crore even before its release, through selling its distribution rights and other rights.

Now, Kalaipuli S Thanu, who bankrolled this movie under the banner of V creations said that Kabali has the potential to surpass the records set by Baahubali, which is the biggest success from South Indian Cinema and the 3rd biggest success in Indian Cinema as well. Baahubali had made 600 crores from its worldwide run.

Kalaipuli S Thanu said that he is damn confident about this movie and he hopes that the flick will collect 500 crores from box office when it get released. The star power and stature of Super Star Rajinikanth is such that he can surpass any records here in Indian Cinema. The flick will hit 5000+ screens worldwide and the advance booking status made new records as well.

Rajinikanth has fans all over the globe and it will really help the movie to get a terrific start. Reports came last day that the Super Star was very much impressed with the movie after watching the preview.
