Kajal Aggarwal donates Rs 2 lakhs to Corona Crisis Charity

Several celebrities from the Indian film industry are offering financial assistance to the daily wage workers who have been jobless ever since the lockdown was imposed last month. Several top stars from Hindi, Malayalam, Tamil and Telugu have been contributing to help the workers in this hour of need. Despite that, there has been a complaint among many about female actors not donating much when compared to their male counterparts.

Nayanthara was among the first to offer a financial assistance of Rs 20 lakhs to the workers. Aishwarya Rajesh, veteran Sripriya and Parvathy Nair are the other few female actors to have done their bit. Kajal Aggarwal is now the latest to join the club. She has donated Rs 2 lakhs to the Corona Crisis Charity (CCC) set up by the Telugu film industry for the welafe of the daily wage labourers. While many have been providing money, some have also supplied rice bags and other raw materials.
