Dilwale Dulhania Le Jayenge was a career milestone not just for the king of Bollywood Shah Rukh Khan but also to Kajol who could make the legitimate claim of being the Queen of Bollywood after the movie was released.  However, her fans were left in utter disappointment when she decided to put an abrupt halt to her Bollywood journey so as to take her responsibility as an ideal wife and mother.  They have been patiently waiting for her to return to movies ever since her last movie My Name is Khan and if the sources are to be believed they may not have to wait any longer as she is preparing to return to movies in the near future.

According to the latest reports, Kajol is booked to play the lead role in the Hindi remake of Malayalam movie How Old are You opposite her real life husband Ajay Devgan. The original Malayalam movie was also in the news because the movie witnessed the much anticipated return of Manju Warrier who also left the film industry for family. Earlier, there was a heresy that Kajol may come back for a Movie which was inspired by popular Norwegian show Penoza but the project seems to have failed to make further developments.  It is said the Ajay Devgan is responsible for Kajol’s comeback. Ajay Devgan fell in love with the concept of the movie and has decided to earn the copy rights to remake the movie in Hindi.

He then suggested his wife to play the lead role and Kajol found the plot interesting enough to say yes.   The film is thoroughly a female oriented movie which guarantees Kajol a multitude of opportunities to showcase her natural acting skills. The movie tells the story of a married woman who is looked down upon even by her husband and daughter. She gets a are opportunity to meet the president of India but she messes it up.  She becomes a laughing stock for others which make her life more miserable. But she gradually realizes that she is holding back her true identity for her family and that her true self is lost somewhere after her marriage. She makes up her mind to reinvent herself and starts following her instincts.

Finally she along with her family get to meet the president for the second time. At the end she earns the respect of others including her husband and daughter and go on to lead a happy family life with new found respect from the family. Ajay Devgan will play the role of her husband which is an added bonus for ten fans who admire this real life couple.
