Kammatipaadam 4 hours version to release in theaters soon

Kammatipaadam, the movie directed by Rajeev Ravi and scripted by P Balachandran is one of the critically acclaimed movies which released this year. The movie starring Dulquer Salmaan in the lead role had released here in Kerala on May 20 this year. The film had got great appreciation from the critics. At first it received mixed opinion from the audience as people expected a mass film from Dulquer Salmaan. Later when people realized what Kammatipaadam is all about, it had got some fantastic reviews from them.

Vinayakan and Manikandan Achari had got great applause for their performance as well. At the time of its release, director Rajeev Ravi said that the actual length of the film they shot was almost 4 hours and due to the censor rules and also due to the pressure to trim the movie, they had removed many parts from the movie and released only its 2 hour 50 minutes version.

He also announced that they will release the 4 hour version through the DVD of the movie. At first they released the normal DVD of the 2 hour 50 minutes version and said that 4 hour version will release as Blue Ray discs. Everybody was waiting for it to come out. Now, it is confirmed that the 4 hour version will have a theater release as well along with the Blue Ray DVD release.

Even though they had not yet revealed the date of its release, we learned that they are planning it to release it in selected screens after Onam. Now, it is a much anticipated one and it will be something unique in Mollywood history.
