Kammattipaadam will have a 4 hour long DVD version

Rajeev Ravi directorial latest film Kamattipaadam, starred by young superstar Dulquer Salmaan has got great reviews from critics and celebrities all over India. Common audience also given thumps up for the film as the film had got mixed opinions from here. Kammattipaadam theatrical version has a length of almost 3 hours and Rajeev Ravi says that the DVD version of the film will have 4 hours length.

He said that when they completed the editing of the movie, it had almost 4 hours long. But later they cut down the length to below 3 hours for theater. Rajeev Ravi asks that who made this unwritten rule about the length of a cinema..? Kammattipaadam is a film which can only be narrated with all its details and it will be lengthy, says the director.

He said that they will release the full 4 hour version of the film through its DVD. The DVD version will have more characters, sub plots, and situations that were removed from the theatrical version of the movie. When one watch the film sitting at his own home, length will not be a problem.

Vinayakan and Manikandan are the show stealers in this movie as they are getting splendid response from all over, for their amazing performance as Gangan and Balan. Dulquer Salmaan also did a good job as Krishnan and gave a matured performance. P Balachandran had wrote the screenplay of this film and he had played the father character of Dulquar in this movie as well.
