Kaniha dubs for Vijay Sethupathi starrer Yaadhum Oore Yaavarum Kelir

After a long gap of around 14 years, actress Kaniha is finally returning to Tamil film industry. She is playing an important role in the upcoming Vijay Sethupathi starrer ‘Yaadhum Oore Yaavarum Kelir’. ‘Varalaru’ was her last full-fledged appearance in Tamil though she essayed a cameo role in ‘OK Kanmani’.

‘Yaadhum Oore Yaavarum Kelir’ is directed by debutant Krishna Roghanth. Megha Akash of ‘Enai Nokki Paayum Thotta’ plays the female lead. Kaniha essays the part of a Sri Lankan Tamilian. The actress had dubbed for her portions only recently. She took to her social media handle to share about her experience of learning the Sri Lankan accent.

As per trustworthy reports, ‘Yaadhum Oore Yaavarum Kelir’ is a musical set in the backdrop of Christmas and New Year celebrations. It is learnt that the film focuses on an international issue. Music plays a major role in the movie, so the makers have signed talented young composer Nivas K Prasanna. Chandra Arts is producing the movie.
