Karthi plays a dual role in Sardar!

Karthi’s is teaming up with director PS Mithran for a new film titled ‘Sardar’. The makers had earlier released an intriguing motion poster that had the star sporting a salt and pepper look. It is learnt that he is playing a dual role in the film and the salt and pepper get-up is for one of his characters in it. This is the second time after ‘Siruthai’ that Karthi is playing a dual role.

‘Sardar’ has Malayali actress Rajisha Vijayan, who recently made her Tamil debut with ‘Karnan’, as one of the female leads. Raashi Khanna is the other lead. Bollywood actor Chunky Pandey will be seen as the antagonist. Simran, Murali Sharma, Ilavarasu, Munishkanth and many others are part of the cast.

On the technical front, GV Prakash is the music director and cinematography is by George C Williams. Editor Ruben, stunt choreographer Dilip Subbarayan and art director Kadhir are also part of the team. ‘Sardar’ is being produced by Lakshman Kumar under the banner of Prince Pictures.
