Karthi And Rashmika Mandanna New Film Launched

We had recently reported about Karthi signing a new film with director Bakkiyaraj Kannan of ‘Remo’ fame. The movie was officially launched today with a formal pooja ceremony. Rashmika Mandanna, one of South Indian cinema’s hot favourites, will be making her Tamil debut with this movie.
According to the makers, this yet to be titled movie will be an action cum family drama with a dose of romance in it. Yogi Babu and Mansoor Ali Khan have also been signed to play crucial roles. SR Prabhu of Dream Warrior Pictures is producing the movie. Vivek-Merwin will be composing the music. Shoot for the movie is scheduled to commence shortly.
Karthi was last seen shooting for ‘Kaithi’, directed by ‘Maanagaram’ fame Lokesh Kanagaraj. He has also signed for a project with Malayali filmmaker Jeethu Joseph, which is scheduled to go on floors by the second half of the year.
