Karthi’s next with Jeethu Joseph wrapped up

Shoot for Malayali filmmaker Jeethu Joseph’s maiden straight Tamil film has been wrapped up. This yet-to-be titled film has Karthi in the lead and Nikhia Vimal as his pair. Jyothika is also playing a prominent role as his sister. Karthi and Jyothika are acting together for the first time and their rapport on screen will be something interesting to watch out for.

Veteran actor Sathyaraj is playing the duo’s father in the film, which is touted to be a family-oriented thriller. Anson Paul, Hareesh Peradi, Seetha Sowkar Janaki, Ammu Abhirami and Ilavarasu are also part of the supporting cast. The movie has camera cranked by RD Rajasekhar. Govind Vasantha, who is now one of the most wanted composers in Tamil, is handling the music department.

Parallel Minds is producing the film and it will be presented by Viacom 18 Motion Pictures. The makers are planning to release it in October this year.
