Kasaba first day show count recorded 36 extra shows

Megatsar Mamootty starrer movie Kasaba written and directed by Nithin Renji Panicker had released all over Kerala last day. The film is getting mixed reviews and the first report says that it is a film for the fans of Mammootty, who can celebrate the mega star show. The movie had come after creating great hype in social media before release and that hype had helped the movie to get a great reception all over Kerala on the first day.

Yesterday, it had made a record here in Kerala, as the film had 36 extra shows after the second Shows in Kerala and it is for the first time in Mollywood that a film had got this much extra shows, after the second shows on first day.

The great hype it got before the movie had released contributed to this situation. Also till last day, the Ramzan month was prevented people from Malabar area to watch movie in theatres and they also came out in large numbers to watch the movie in after Eid celebrations. Action mass masala entertainers always gets grand reception and Kasaba is one such film and got the expected welcome from fans.

Now there are chances that Kasaba may have broken the first day collection record set by Dulquer Salmaan’s Kali this year in Mollywood. Collection report will come soon and we can look forward to that.
