Kasaba is on its filming stage now and it is going on in a smooth pace. This Nithin Renji Panicker scripted and directed will be coming with one of the best ever police characters played by Mammootty as per reports. Mammootty is playing the character of a circle inspector and his character name is Rajan Zakaria. He is dynamic as well as eccentric and had some unique characteristics too. The look of Mammootty in this film is already become viral in Facebook and other social media platforms.

Mammootty had played many famous cop roles in his career in films like Aavanazhi, Inspector Balram, Roudram, Godman, Rakshasa Rajavu, August 1, August 15, Balram Vs Tharadas etc. His police character in Avanashi and Inspector Balram, had quite a following as well. Kasaba is said to be a film which will go above all those films mentioned above and this character will be one of the best in the career of Mammootty.
