Kayamkulam Kochunni all set for a grand release in over 351 centres across Kerala

Kayamkulam Kochunni is hitting screens tomorrow (October 11) and the whole industry is eagerly looking forward to it. The movie directed by Rosshan Andrrews is the biopic of legendary highwayman Kayamkulam Kochunni. Nivin Pauly plays the titular role in the movie. Along with Nivin Pauly, the presence of Mohanlal in the cast is the movie’s major selling point.

As per a paper ad given by the makers movie will be releasing in over 351 centres in Kerala with a whopping 1700 odd shows on its opening day. If it turns out to true, it will be a new record for the most number of shows in the state. SS Rajamouli’s Baahubali 2: The Conclusion, which had 1370 shows on its opening day is the current record holder. Since it is releasing in such a huge number of centres, Kayamkulam Kochunni is most likely to register a new record in the opening day collections.

Kayamkulam Kochunni is also having a simultaneous release in the UAE. It will be releasing in around 48 screens in UAE and 34 more the in other parts of GCC. The makers have also arranged a special premiere show toady (Oct 10), 10 PM at Bollywood Cinemas. Middle East is one of the biggest markets of Malayalam movies and Kayamkulam Kochunni is expected to do some solid business there.
