King Liar failed to break Kali first day collection

King Liar, the much anticipated Dileep-Madonna Sebastian starrer from Siddique-Lal team had released yesterday and opened to positive reviews all over. The film had released in 127 screen in Kerala and it was expected to break the first day collection of 2.33 crore by Dulquer Salmaan starrer Kali, which it had set last week. But as per the official report from the trade Pandits in Mollywood, the flick had failed to do so. It had only made around 1.5 crore from its opening day and that collection is way behind Dulquer Salmaan’s Kali.

Earlier in the day we have been informed from the team behind the film that the flick had grossed over 2.33 crore from Kerala and had broken Kali’s first day collection. But later in the evening, the trade guides confirmed the real box office figure of the movie is around 1.5 crore from Kerala.

So Dulquer Salmaan’s Kali remains on top as far as the openings of this summer releases till now are concerned. With the official collection report of King Liar, one thing also made clear that Dileep is failed to enter in to the 2 crore club of opening day collections in Malayalam cinema where only Mohanlal and Dulquar Salman able to reach twice till now.

King Liar getting great collection now with positive reports all around and the support of family audience making it a blockbuster success as per reports. Dileep again won gold at box office after the success of Two Countries which had entered the 50 crore club of Mollywood recently.
