Kottarakkara Vijay fans conduct a protest rally against the rising incidents of attacks against women and children

We are living in a society where attacks against women and children have become a common sight. Such incidents are increasing in an alarming rate. Women are not safe while travelling alone, at work places and even when they are home. Children have been subjected to all kinds of abuse in school and at homes.

Each and every person in the society has a duty in their hands to ensure the safety of the fellow humans. Awareness about leading a compassionate and importance of gender equality equality should be initiated right from the grassroot levels.

While fans associations are mostly known to organize success meets and celebrate their matinee idol’s opening day shows, Vijay fans association in Kottarakkara have conducted a rally as a mark of showing their protest against the rising incidents of attacks against women and children. Kottarakkara municipal vice chairman A Shaju inaugurated the rally.

This is an appreciable effort taken by the youngsters to spend their resources in an useful way to spread awareness in the society. Let’s hope this inspires others also to address socially relevant issues.
