Kumari: Aishwarya Lekshmi’s next with Ranam director Nirmal Sahadev to begin in March 2021

‘Ranam’ director Nirmal Sahadev will be next helming a female centric film. Titled as ‘Kumari’, the film will have Aishwarya Lekshmi playing the lead role. From the earlier released motion poster, the film looks like a mystery thriller with supernatural elements in it. The makers have announced that the film’s shoot will begin in March 2021. Prior to the commencement of shoot, more details are expected to be revealed.

‘Kumari’ has its story written by director Nirmal and Sachin Ramdas. On the technical front, Nirmal has retained the same team from ‘Ranam’. Jigme Tenzing will be handling the camera and Sreejith Sarang is the editor. Jakes Bejoy has been assigned as the music director.

The latter two are also part of the production of ‘Kumari’. They are jointly producing the film along with Nirmal Sahadev and Giju John of ‘Ranam’ and ‘Forensic’ fame. Supriya Menon is presenting the film under the banner of Prithviraj Productions.
