Kunchacko Boban to reprise his criminologist role from Anjaam Pathiraa!

Recently, we had reported about the reunion of ‘Anjaam Pathiraa’ team. Director Midhun Maneul Thomas, lead actor Kunchacko Boban, producer Ashiq Usman, cinematographer Shyju Khalid, music director Sushin Shyam and editor Saiju Sreedharan are coming together once again for a new film. Though it is not exactly a sequel, the film will have Kunchacko Boban reprising his role from ‘Anjaam Pathiraa’.

Kunchacko Boban’s character Anwar Hussain, a consulting criminologist, has immense scope and the makers are hoping to make the best out of it. Midhun is currently scripting the film, which according to him, will be a totally different thriller. The new film will be centered around another investigation lead by Anwar. Unlike ‘Anjaam Pathiraa’, which was set in Kochi, this film is set in a hill station.

‘Anjaam Pathiraa’, released in January this year, was a huge success. It emerged as one of the biggest hits in Kunchacko Boban’s two-decade-long career. The makers are confident that the new film film will break the benchmark set by ‘Anjaam Pathiraa’. They are planning to start shoot by the second half of 2021 and release it for Christmas.
