Kunchacko Boban to team up with Ajai Vasudev

Buzz is that Kunchacko Boban is planning to team up with Ajai Vasudev next. The director has previously made the Mammootty-starrers ‘Rajadhiraja’, ‘Masterpiece’ and ‘Shylock’. This will mark his first collaboration with an actor other than Mammootty.

Ajai Vasudev’s films are usually action-packed mass entertainers. It remains to be seen if he is planning to make one with Kunchacko Boban as well. There are reports about this being a remake of a hit film but an official confirmation is still awaited.

Kunchacko Boban, meanwhile, is busy shooting for ‘Theevandi’ fame Fellini’s ‘Ottu’. Made as a Tamil-Malayalam bilingual, the film stars Arvind Swamy as the other lead. Titled ‘Rendagam’ in Tamil, the film is produced by August Cinema.

Kunchacko Boban has multiple projects coming up. He has already completed shooting for ‘Thamaasha’ director Ashraf Hamza’s second film ‘Beemante Vazhi’. Ratheesh Balakrishnan Poduval’s ‘Nna Thaan Case Kodu’, ‘Grrr’ with Jay K, ‘Aaram Pathiraa’ with Midhun Manuel Thomas, ‘Neelavelicham’ with Aashiq Abu and ‘Ariyippu’ with Mahesh Narayanan are his other projects, all of which are in various stages of production.
