Kunchako Boban’s next titled as Shikkari Shambu

After delivering hits with Ordinary and Madhura Naranga, the trio of Kunchacko Boban, director Sugeeth and scriptwriter Nishad Koya are teaming up once again. Their upcoming movie has been titled as Shikkari Shambu. Motion poster and first look of the movie was released today.

Sshivada Nair has been roped in to play the female lead opposite Kunchako Boban. Sshivada, a very busy actress in Kollywood has several projects in her kitty. She was last seen in Malayalam in Achayans where she was paired opposite Unni Mukundan.

Kunchacko Boban, Sshivada and Kattapanayile Rithwik Roshan fame Vishnu Unnikrishnan feature in the motion poster. The movie promises to be a fun filled village entertainer. Shanavas Abbas and Raju Chandra has jointly written the movie’s story.

According to scriptwriter Nishad Koya, the movie will be a complete entertainer with lot of prominence to humour. It will also involve a few action sequences while discussing a relevant social cause. Salim Kumar, Kanaran Hareesh, Vishnu and Dharmajan Bolgatty are also part of the cast.

Faisal Ali will be cranking the camera and Sreejith Edavana will be composing the music. Doha based businessman Lawrence is producing this movie under the banner of Lawrence Angel Maria Films.

Sugeeth, Nishad Koya and Kunchako Boban first teamed up in 2012 for the superhit movie Ordinary. Later they did 3 Dots, which met with lukewarm response at the box office. In 2015, they again joined hands for Madhura Naranga which emerged as a commercial success. The trio will be hoping to reap success this time also.

Shoot for Shikkari Shambu will be
commencing on the 15th of this month.
