Lal roped in to play a prominent role in Prabhas’s Saaho

Following the glorious success of Baahubali, Prabhas has become a nationwide sensation. He is hugely popular all across the country and his movies are eagerly awaited by the audience. He has started shooting for Saaho, his first film out of the Baahubli series in five years.

Sujeeth is directing this movie, jointly produced by Vamsi Krishna Reddy and Pramod Uppalapati under the banner of UV Creations. To cash in on Prabhas’ huge popularity, the makers are shooting the movie as a trilingual in Telugu, Tamil and Hindi languages.

In an attempt to give the movie a pan Indian appeal, the makers are roping in actors from various industries to give it a pan Indian appeal. Bollywood diva Shraddha Kapoor is playing the female lead in the movie. Veteran Bollywood star Jackie Shroff, Neil Nitin Mukesh, Chunky Pandey, Mandira Bedi, Mahesh Manjrekar, Tamil actor Arun Vijay and Tinnu Anand are playing prominent roles in the movie.

Latest addition to the cast is veteran Malayalam actor/filmmaker Lal. Reports suggest that Lal has been brought on board to play a very integral part in the movie. He has previously acted in a couple of Telugu films Annavaram (2006) and Khatarnak (2008).

Prabhas sports an extremely stylish look for the movie. The actor recently shared a photo which revealed the latest look that he sports for Saaho. After the release of Baahuabli 2: The Conclusion, Prabhas had trimmed down his weight to have a leaner physique for this upcoming movie.

Saaho is a very ambitious project made on a huge scale. International stuntman Kenny Bates, famous for his works in Hollywood films like Die Hard and Transformers has been roped in to choreograph the high octane stunts in Saaho. Renowned cinematographer R Madhie is wielding the camera and the famed trio of Shankar-Ehsaan-Loy is handling the music department.

Saaho will be shot across exotic locales in Romania, Abu Dhabi, Mumbai and Hyderabad. The movie is expected to hit screens by the end of next year.
