Lalitham Sundaram: Madhu Warrier says he has been working on his directorial debut for 3.5 years!

Actor-producer Madhu Warrier is turning a filmmaker with ‘Lalitham Sundaram’ that stars his sister Manju Warrier and Biju Menon in the lead roles. Pramod Mohan, who had directed the Biju Menon starrer ‘Orayiram Kinakkal’, is penning this film. Manju Warrier’s own production house is backing it along with Central Films.

According to Madhu Warrier, ‘Lalitham Sundaram’ is a feel-good, family entertainer. Madhu, who had previously assisted Deepu Karunakaran in ‘Crazy Gopalan’, has been doing the background works of his directorial debut for nearly 3.5 years now. Shoot for the film is scheduled to begin this month itself.

‘Lalitham Sundaram’ has Manju Warrier playing an entrepreneur while Biju Menon’s character owns an event management company. They both are acting together after two long decades, so it will be interesting to see their on-screen chemistry after all these years.

Dileesh Pothan, Saiju Kurup, Deepti Sati and Zarina Wahab are part of the film’s supporting cast. Cinematographer P Sukumar, music director Bijibal and editor Lijo Paul form the core technical crew.
