Latest song from Sivakarthikeyan’s Velaikaaran releasing today!

Sivakarthikeyan’s Velaikaaran is an eagerly awaited movie, not just by Tamilians but also by the Malayali audience. Malayalam star Fahadh Faasil is making his K-Town debut with this movie which also stars Nayanthara and Sneha in major roles. Mohan Raja, fresh from the success of Thani Oruvan, is helming this movie.

One of South Indian cinema’s leading composers Anirudh Ravichander is handling the music in Velaikaaran. The lyric video of his single ‘Iraiva’ is releasing today evening. It is said to be an one of its kind video in Tamil. Lead actors Anirudh and Jonita Gandhi will be featuring in the video. The mp3 version of the song has already become a hit and is topping the music charts currently.

The first single ‘Karuthavellam Kaleejam’ went on to become viral across all platforms. The local ‘kuthu’ number struck a chord with the listeners as several fan made videos were trending in social medias. Anirudh has a wonderful track record with Sivakarthikeyan and naturally expectations are high for the Velaikkaran album. This is also the first time he is working with director Mohan Raja. The movie’s audio launch is likely to be held this month.

Like the director’s previous film Thani Oruvan, Velaikkaran is also touted to be commercial entertainer with a relevant social message in it. The movie has an big supporting cast which includes Prakash Raj, Vijay Vasanth, Thambi Ramiah, RJ Balaji, Rohini and Sathish in supporting roles.

RD Raja’s 24AM Studios is producing this movie. It is slated to hit screens worldwide on December 22 as a grand Christmas release.
