Legendary filmmaker IV Sasi passes away in Chennai

Legendary filmmaker IV Sasi passed away on Tuesday morning in Chennai. The director, aged 69, was undergoing treatment in Chennai and the end came at his residence in Saligramam.

IV Sasi has made over 150 Indian films in Malayalam, Tamil and Hindi languages. His wife Seema is a renowned actress who has worked in all South Indian languages.

Some of IV Sasi’s most popular films include Angadi, Mrugaya, Vartha, Devasuram, 1921, Adiyozhukkukal, Uyarangalil etc. The director was planning to helm the biggest project of his career ‘The Wells’ based on the Kuwait war.

The director has left to heavenly abode leaving a great legacy behind.
