Lijomol to play female lead in Siddharth-GV Prakash starrer Sivappu Manjal Pachai

Earlier in the day, the title of director Sasi’s new movie was launched. The movie titled ‘Sivappu Manjal Pachai’ (SMP) will have Siddharth and GV Prakash as the male leads and Malayali actress Lijomol Jose has been signed as the heroine. Lijomol is noted for her performance in movies like ‘Maheshinte Prathikaram’, ‘Kattapanayile Rithwik Roshan’ and ‘Streetlights’. SMP marks her debut in Tamil.

Director Sasi has helmed notable films like ‘Roja Kootam’, ‘Dishyum’, ‘Poo’ and ‘Ainthu Ainthu Ainthu’. His last film, ‘Pichaikkaran’ starring Vijay Antony was a huge hit at the box office. ‘Sivappu Manjal Pachai’ is said to be an emotional thriller revolving around a brother-sister relationship.

Lijomol plays GV Prakash’s sister in the film and Siddharth plays her husband. Kashmira plays GV Prakash’s pair in the film. GV and Siddharth are coming together for the first time. While GV essays the role of a bike racer, Siddharth will be seen as traffic police officer in the movie. Both the actors have pinned high hopes on the movie. They both shared the title poster in their respective social media handles.

‘Sivappu Manjal Pachai’ will have music by Siddhu Kumar and cinematography by Prasanna Kumar. Ramesh Pillai of Abishek Films is producing the movie.
