Highly acclaimed Tamil director Lokesh Kanagaraj, who is currently immersed in the post-production work of his forthcoming release ‘Leo,’ starring Thalapathy Vijay, set to hit screens on October 19th, continues to be a hot topic on social media due to his exciting lineup of upcoming films. Kanagaraj has been in discussions with superstars like Rajinikanth, Suriya, and Karthi for multiple future projects.

The latest report reveals that he is gearing up for his dream project, ‘Irumbu Kai Mayavi,’ featuring Suriya in the lead role. New details about this film have started to surface, indicating that Lokesh has presented an updated version of the script to Suriya, and they have decided to collaborate on this fresh narrative.

Lokesh is said to have drawn inspiration from the DC Comics novel titled ‘The Steel Claw,’ originally published in 1962. The story revolves around a superhero with a complex character, who loses one of his arms and replaces it with a steel prosthetic arm. An electrifying accident grants him the power of invisibility, causing his body to vanish, leaving only the steel arm visible.

If this indeed forms the core of Suriya’s ‘Irumbu Kai Mayavi,’ it promises to be a captivating cinematic experience, with Lokesh’s distinctive directorial style. In addition to this project, Lokesh is also planning ‘Kaithi 2’ with Karthi, ‘Thalaivar 170’ with Rajinikanth, ‘Leo 2’ with Vijay, and a standalone movie featuring the character Rolex, portrayed by Suriya in his previous film alongside Kamal Haasan in ‘Vikram.’
