Looking forward to watch Moothon, says Suriya

The wait for Nivin Pauly’s ‘Moothon’ has reached nearly two years now. The fact that the makers have been very secretive about the film has raised the curiosity of the audience. Interestingly, not just the common audience, even celebs are eagerly waiting for the movie. Recently, when Nivin Pauly wished Suriya for his birthday, the latter replied back by tweeting thank you and also adding that he is looking forward to watch ‘Moothon’. It must be remembered that Suriya had also released the movie’s teaser in January.

Helmed by actress-turned-filmmaker Geetu Mohandas, ‘Moothon’ tells the story of a man called Mullakoya from Lakshadweep. The movie is centred around his journey to find his brother. ‘Moothon’ is actually an island slang for elder brother. Expectations are huge as the movie has some of the leading technicians in Indian cinema associated with it.

Geetu Mohandas has penned the story while ace Bollywood filmmaker Anurag Kashyap has collaborated with her in writing the Hindi dialogues. Geetu’s husband Rajeev Ravi, also an acclaimed filmmaker, is the cinematographer and National award winner Ajithkumar is editing the movie.
