Maanaadu is a new experience for Tamil Cinema: Shankar

The Venkat Prabhu directorial ‘Maanaadu’ continues to get appreciation from all corners. Ace filmmaker Shankar is the latest to come out heaping praise on the team. The ‘Enthiran’ director has tweeted that ‘Maanaadu’ is brilliantly written and directed. According to him, it is a new experience for Tamil cinema.

Shankar’s tweet reads,

‘Maanaadu’ starring Simbu and SJ Suryah as the leads is a political thriller with a fascinating time loop concept. It is a first such attempt in Tamil cinema and the film has been getting overwhelming response from both critics and the common audience.

Last day, the crew members flew to Mumbai for the film’s special screening arranged for Bollywood producers and celebs. It is learnt that remake talks have already been initiated.
