Maanaadu teaser to be released by Prithviraj, Anurag Kashyap, Kichcha Sudeep and Ravi Teja

Tamil star Simbu’s ‘Maanadu’ is a highly anticipated one among his fans. Touted to be a political drama, the film marks his first time union with ‘Mankatha’ director Venkat Prabhu. Its teaser will be released tomorrow (February 3) through the social media handles of various leading celebs. Anurag Kashyap, Prithviraj Sukumaran, Kichcha Sudeep and Ravi Teja will be releasing the teaser at 2.34 PM.

‘Maanadau’ is a has Simbu playing a Muslim character named Adbul Khaaliq. Kalyani Priyadrashan essays the female lead’s part while SJ Suryah does the antagonist’s role. Vijay’s father SA Chandrasekhar, veteran filmmaker Bharathiraja, his son Manoj Bharathi, Karunakaran and Premji Amaren will also be seen essaying important roles.

On the technical front, Richard M Nathan is the cinematographer and Praveen KL handles the edits. Venkat Prabhu’s frequent collaborator Yuvan Shankar Raja has been retained as the music director for this film as well. It is being produced by Suresh Kamatchi under the banner of V House Productions.
