As it is Thalapathy Vijay’s birthday today, social media platforms are flooded with wishes from his fans and well-wishers. Celebs from other industries are also busy wishing the star. Telugu superstar Mahesh Babu has wished Vijay by tweeting,

Mahesh Babu and Vijay have been friends from long. Vijay has acted in remakes of Mahesh Babu’s blockbuster films like ‘Okkadu’ and ‘Pokkiri’. Interestingly, Vijay’s next film, tentatively titled as ‘Thalapathy 66’, is most likely to be directed by Vamshi Paidapally, whose last film was ‘Maharshi’ starring Mahesh Babu. It had won the National award for Best Popular Film Providing Wholesome Entertainment. Vijay-Vamshi film is expected to be a Tamil-Telugu bilingual made on a big scale.
