Malavika Mohanan to star in Shankar-Ram Charan film?

It is already known that director Shankar is teaming up with Telugu star Ram Charan next. Dil Raju and Shirish are jointly producing this big-budget film under the banner of Sri Venkateswara Creations. Latest buzz is that the makers are in talks with Malavika Mohanan for essaying one of the female leads’ part in the film. The actress was last seen in the Vijay-Vijay Sethupathi starrer ‘Master’.

Shankar’s film with Ram Charan is planned as a pan-Indian project that will be released in Tamil, Telugu and Hindi. Earlier, it was reported that South Korean actor Bae Suzy is being considered to play a major role in the film. However, the makers are yet to announce anything officially. Shoot is expected to begin only after Shankar wraps up ‘Indian 2’ with Kamal Haasan.

Malavika Mohanan meanwhile is also part of Dhanush’s upcoming film with ‘Dhruvangal 16’ fame Karthick Naren. Tentatively titled as ‘D 43’, the film has the two leads playing the roles of investigative journalists.
