Malayalam actor Jishnu Raghavan passed away

Young Mollywood actor Jishnu Raghavan passed away today morning at a private hospital at Kochi. He was only 35 years old and was under the treatment for cancer for a long time. Jishnu was the son of veteran actor Raghavan and he had come to the film field as a child artist through the film named Kilippattu, directed by his own father Raghavan.

Later he made his debut as hero through the Kamal directorial film named Nammal, which was a success. He had acted in more than 25 films later and had made his Bollywood debut as well through the hindi remake of Malayalam super hit named Traffic. His last Malayalam film was Rabecca Uthuppu Kizhakkemala.

Kilippattu was released in 1987 which was even got selection in Indian Panorama. His other notable films are Choonda by Venu Gopan, Freedom by Thmapi Kannanthanam, Pouran by Sundar Das, Chakkaramuthu by Lohitha das, Parayam by Anil Babu, Ordinary by Sugeeth and Nerariyan CBI by K Madhu.

He took a short gap from acting and went to Delhi for a job. Later came back to Mollywood through Nidra, directed by Sidharth Bharathan, who had earlier made his debut with Jishnu through Nammal. Banking hours, Nidra, Ordinary, Rabecca Uthuppu Kizhakkemala, Annum Innum Ennum etc were the recent films in which he acted. Recently one of his inspirational Facebook post from ICU had went viral in Social Media.
