Mamangam director Padmakumar’s next with Asif Ali and Suraj Venjaramoodu to begin in April

After working on the epic period flick ‘Mamangam’ for nearly a year, director M Padmakumar will be teaming up with actors Asif Ali and Suraj Venjaramoodu for his new film. Shoot for the yet-to-be titled film will start in April and pre-production works have already begun. Ranjin Raj of ‘Joseph’ fame has already started composing for the film. More details regarding project, including the genre, supporting cast and other crew members are expected to be revealed in the coming days.

Both Suraj Venjaramoodu and Asif Ali are currently in red hot form after delivering back to back stellar performances. So when they both come together for a new film, expectations will naturally be on the higher side. Though they both have acted together several times in the past, this is the first time they will be sharing screen space as leads. It will be interesting to see their on-screen rapport.
