Mammootty and Dileep to star in Shylock makers’ next?

After the superhit success of ‘Shylock’, director Ajai Vausdev and writers Bibin Mohan and Aneesh Hameed are teaming up next for a multi-starrer. Buzz is that Mammootty and Dileep will be playing the leads in this film. Though the makers are yet to confirm this, it will be huge if they manage to bring the two stars together.

It must be noted that Dileep and Mammootty have shared screen space in numerous films like ‘Megham’, ‘Rakshasa Rajavu’, ‘Kaliyoonjal’ etc. ‘Kammath and Kammath’, released in 2013, was the last time the duo played full fledged roles together. Currently, both the stars have multiple projects lined up.

Director Ajai Vasudev is also set to begin works on his new film with Asif Ali. Unlike his previous films, which were all mass masala entertainers, his new film, ‘Naalam Thoonu’ is said to be a media-based political thriller. S Suresh Babu is scripting the film that also has Suraj Venjaramoodu, Neeta Pillai and Arjun Ashokan in major roles.
