Mega star Mammootty had at last back on the track of success with his Vishu film named Bhaskar The Rascal and he is now doing a handful of projects which are very hopeful ones for him and for his fans. There are films like  Utopyayile Rajavu, Acha Din, Debutant Nithin Renji Panicker’s cop story, Pathemary, another debutant Uday Ananthan film White etc and there is one more to that list of films for him now. The upcoming project we are mentioning will be the directorial debut of two newcomers named Akhil Paul and Anas Khan. Akhil Paul is noted for the script he wrote for the last year hit film named 7th day starred Prithviraj and directed by debutant Shyamdhar. This flick will also be scripted by the directors Akhil Paul and Anas Khan.

According to the early reports the film will be an investigation thriller just like Akhil Paul’s first film 7th day and Mammootty will play the role of an investigator in this film. The plot of the film deals with a robbery of 7000 crores from the reserve bank of India and the investigation to find who did that. The rumour is that foreign hands are involved in the robbery and the country is shell-shocked to hear this news. Then they made a team to investigate the issue and Mammootty will be playing the leader of that investigation team.

The film will be financed by the popular director K Madhu and under his banner of Krishna Kripa films and M C Arun under his banner of Line of Colours and reports from the sources also reveals that this film will start rolling from this year last part and the other crew members and artists who will join this film will be announced after the decision taken by the production and direction team.

Mammootty has done many investigation thrillers in his career and he had played many investigation officers roles. His popular ones are Sethurama Aiyer from CBI, a character from the film named Oru CBI diary Kurippu, the film which had four parts and another famous one is Perumal from August 1. He had also played such roles in films like The truth conceived by Shaji Kailas. And now we have to see how different will be this character from all of those mentioned just above.
