Mammootty explains why he decided to act in Kasaba

Megastar Mammootty’s upcoming film Kasaba is all set to grace the screens here in Mollywood on the auspicious day of Eid in this July. Debutant film aker Nithin Renji Panicker has scripted and conceived this movie and it is produced by Alice George under the banner of Goodwill Entertainments. The posters and teaser of the film had went viral in social media thanks largely to the trolls that created by troll pages in social media aimed at it.

Director Nithin Renji Panicker says that it helped the film to get great promotion among the film lovers. Meanwhile Mammootty has opened his mind about Kasaba and he explains why he decided to act in Kasaba, to the media.

Mammootty said that the character in this film is very different from all cop characters he played in his career. Circle Inspector Rajan Zakariah has his own mannerisms and unique style in everything he does. That is what attracted him.

Mammootty also said that he chose to act in this film directed by Nithin, not because he is the son of Renji Panicker. But, because he has his own view and style of narrating a story which is entirely different from his father’s style. He had all the answers for Mammootty’s questions when the star asked doubts after hearing the screenplay. He corrected all mistakes pointed out by Mammootty and come up with a clean script.

Mammootty is pretty much impressed by Nithin Renji Panicker’s making of the film and the star said that Nithin Renji Panicker had done a fine job.
